Course Description:
Race the Tide is an obstacle fell race, traversing many of the lake district’s finest features: steep climbs, marshland, and watercourses! Muncaster Castle will be the focal point as you line up outside waiting for the cannon to signal go, while the course will test you with its natural and man made obstacles.

Other:
At registration, you will have to confirm that you can swim at least 50m, although no stretch of water will be that long in the race.
We aim to have hot running water to help you re-energize before the evening festivities. There may be queues for this luxury, so we recommend booking into the Coachman's Quarters for your accommodation, if you really want instant shower access.
The event is aims to raise funds for Muncaster Heritage Trust, to maintain and restore the historic Muncaster Castle and it's surrounding grounds.
