Other:
We recommend that you arrive at least one hour before your wave start time. Remember that you will have to park, walk, possibly register, check your bag, attach your bib, and make your way to the starting line. Leave enough time to accomplish everything so you aren’t rushed.
This is an extreme foot race built to challenge you in a number of ways. There are always risks when participating in any sporting event like this. That being said, the point is to HAVE FUN! We’ve taken every precaution to ensure that the course is safe for all participants, and you can complete it at your own pace. If you can’t complete an obstacle, you can skip it and move on. All we ask is that you give it your best shot and prove to yourself and the rest of us how tough you really are!
Bring your valid photo ID, $5 cash for parking, additional cash for food and beer, appropriate footwear that you don’t mind destroying, and plenty of guts and determination. You’ll also need your initialed, signed, and dated waiver if you are picking up your packet that day.
Our official Mach 1 photographer will be taking photos immediately after you cross the finish line. Photos will be posted within a week, and will be available for purchase.
Top of the line chip timing will be used. Your race bib will contain the timing chip, so make sure it is firmly attached throughout the course.
This course contains professionally built obstacles and multiple mud pits to run, crawl and jump through. Watch a video of last year’s event HERE. Expect to get muddy and expect a challenge. You will get wet, and you will get dirty. You will also have a FANTASTIC time!
Not only will we have a hot water shower trailer available, but also Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps is bringing out the AllOne Ark! It’s a mobile shower facility with hot water and organic, biodegradable soap dispensed as foam. Rinse off, party in the AllOne Ark with your friends, and rinse off again. We promise to get you muddy, and they promise they’ll get you clean. You’ll smell minty fresh, and have a great time getting that way! We’ll have changing tents as well for both men and women. Of course, you can always walk around muddy and hugging your clean friends, if you’d like.
You can check in a small bag with your belongings and it will be supervised. You will receive a claim check that you’ll need to reclaim your things after the race.
We encourage you to get as creative as you want. Just make sure the costume does not impair your vision, prevent you from breathing normally, or can potentially make you trip or get snagged on an obstacle. We only ask that you actually WEAR something. Nudity is not a costume!!!
Bring a washable bag to the run to hold your muddy clothes. Check the bag into our complementary bag check area. Please note that your shoes will likely be ruined. We will have a designated trash dumpster specifically for disposing of footwear, or better yet, DONATE THEM FOR A GOOD CAUSE!
