Organizer:

Heroes vs Villains Flag Gauntlet Register as either a hero to stay the course, or a villain to rip (football) flags off heroes/participants in three gauntlet areas of the race. Winners with at least one flag left get a Heroes Medal! Villains must dress up, come early for villain training/set up and rip off flags for 2 1/2 hours to receive a villain medal. Finish without a flag? = Survivors medal/Heroes can dress up or not. There is a 1 Mile/1 Gauntlet race for parents and younger children.

Course Description:

Run/Walk the race as a HERO or be a flag ripping VILLAIN. HEROES (runners/walkers) receive a rental belt with three red football flags on them that can be removed in each of the three gauntlet areas filled with FLAG VILLAINS (see flag removal rules below). VILLAINS can only walk but get to have fun ripping flags off heroes for 2 hours during the 1Mile and 5K races from 4pm to 6pm.

Aid Stations:

Staff is on site to administer first aid and get you back into the race if possible.

Awards:

This is not a timed race. Heroes (Runners/Walkers) who finish with at least one flag on their football belts (3 flags) receive a Heroes Medal. If they finish with no flags they receive a Survivors Medal. If they are Villains, they have to do all 4 hours of training and flag ripping to receive a Villains Medal.

Spectators:

Spectators are free and can remain outside the coned race area.

Parking:

Bring $ for parking and expo. Parking will cost $5 per vehicle.

Other:

Our event gives money to several organizations to save victims of violence & sex trafficking. Also, many volunteers will be donating their time for $ to be donated to these organizations.
There is a parent/child mile race for those 11 and under. 7 and under are free. You need to be 12+ to participate in the official three gauntlet race.
Not a timed event.
No gear check/security on hand to watch vehicles.

Team:

We don't register teams but you can create your own team.
