THE COLORADO MUD RUN....BIGDOGBRAG is a community wide family-friendly event. The 5k obstacle course with 26 obstacles and 15 mud pits is designed for thrill seekers and mudslingers 12 and up! We also have a 2k Little DOG FUN obstacle course with 15 obstacles which is perfect for families with kids 5 and up who want more FUN than RUN…or for bigger kids who just aren’t ready for the BIG DOG 5K. Adults that are signed up for the 5k have FREE ACCESS to the 2k course with their kids that are signed up!  Both courses have more obstacles and mud than any other race around...you'll experience really muddy mud pits, epic slides, cargo net climbs, tarzan swings, canyon traverses,  rope climbs out of canyons and a day of making memories with family, ,co-workers and friends! Race to the finish line or soak up each challenge at your own pace. Do it your way Colorado!!! But whatever you do, make June 3 or June 24 the Saturdays to beat this summer!

Not only will you have a great time at the BIGDOGBRAG, but you will be supporting 2 local charities...NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness with funds directed at the Ending the Silence Campaign preventing teen suicide) and VETERANS OVERCOMING OBSTACLES supporting vets in Colorado Springs and Pueblo!

Course Description:

The Playground as we call it brings natural hills and canyons to run through.
The obstacles are built into the unique terrain as much as possible. No blow up slids or bounce houses.
The 5k offers 25+ obstacles and our family friendly 2k course has 12+ obstacles for the whole family to enjoy!

Aid Stations:

We have 3-4 aid stations with water and snacks at the end.
We have roving medical crew on sight.

Prizes:

We have prizes for best costume, muddiest, best team spirit.

Spectators:

Spectators are free with room to roam.

Parking:

We ask for $5 parking donation to support local nonprofits we are working with.

Post Party:

We have DJ with food, vendors and fun side activities like tug of war and pull up challenges.

Other:

We partner with Angels of America's Fallen a local nonprofit that supports families who have lost a spouse or parent in the line of duty as a first responder or military.
All kids 13 and can run the 5k.
All kids 5 and run the 2k.
We have great wash system and secure gear check. Bag check is $3 per bag.
Military, First Responders & College Students get 15% off. Contact first to get promotion code.

Team:

We offer each team that signs up a $5 dollar discount per person.
Military and large groups get discounts as well.
