Race Start Time:
The first wave is the competitive wave and starts at 8:00 a.m. All other waves follow every 20 minutes with the last wave to start at 2:00 p.m.

Course Description:
Most of the Monster Challenges course is along trails through wooded areas. Then, participants zip line into the finish area that is within the spectator area.
The course is over 4 miles long with more than 26 obstacles...REAL
OBSTACLES. Most obstacles have three levels of difficulty that allows
the beginner to challenge themselves, and the hardcore MOB beasts to
challenge each other and the course.
Aid Stations:
Water stations are provided at least every mile. EMS is on-site with communication to various race staff members along the course. Every participant receives a banana, protein bar, and bottled water at the finish line.
Awards:
A ""Clawed My Way Through"" award will be presented at approximately 10:30 a.m. to the top male and top female of the following age groups of the combined competitive waves:
• 14-20
• 21-30
• 31-40
• 41-50
• 51-60
• 61 and over
Prizes:
The Eyecatcher award is presented to the participant with the best costume.
Spectators:
Spectators are free to the event. They must pay for parking - $5 vehicle
Parking:
$5 per vehicle Parking is very convenient to the event, however, we do recommend carpooling, as this nearby space may become full.
Post Party:
We offer four different food vendors, as well as other local vendors.
Music is provided by a DJ and perhaps live bands.
Staff is encouraged to mingle and socialize with all participants. You might even find the race director shakin' a leg on the dance grounds!
Other:
All proceeds from the sale of beer at every Monster Challenges event is donated to Dreamcatcher Horse Ranch and Rescue.
Team:
The largest team is provided with their own tent, equipped with tables, chairs and a keg of beer. They will also receive 20 free entries to the next event.
