Course Description:
The Brooks HellRunner use entirely natural terrain. There will only ever be one huge obstacle to overcome and that is Mother Nature herself. Expect multi-terrain and varying underfoot conditions as we take you on an off-piste adventure running experience like no other. There will be everything from running tracks and trails to water-filled areas and plenty of steep hills. From “Lucifer’s Lido” to the “Bog of Doom”, expect to get smelly and wet! It will be nature at its toughest.
The course will be marked but do not expect to see mile or kilometre markers... that’s for those softy road running types.
Aid Stations:
Medical support will be present on the course and at the finish. For the main HellRunner event there will be three opportunities en-route where bottled water will be made available in addition to that provided at the finish. For those taking part in Valhalla, there will be a minimum of one drinks station in addition to the bottled water provided at the finish.
Prizes:
The first 3 men & first 3 women across the line will be awarded prizes on the day at the venue. Prize winners will be issued with their prize on the day and if they are not present will be notified by email within one week of the event.
A prize award will be made to the first male and first female in the Valhalla wave.
Spectators:
Spectating is free and encouraged.
Parking:
There is a free car park
Post Party:
Hot food and drinks will be available for purchase at the venue.
Other:
There will be a small male and female changing area available at the event hub. However, we recommend that all runners arrive at the event already changed and bring additional warm and dry items to put on for your return journey. We regret that there are NO SHOWER facilities on site at the venue.
