Course Description:
The Brooks HellRunner use entirely natural terrain. There will only ever be one huge obstacle to overcome and that is Mother Nature herself. Expect multi-terrain and varying underfoot conditions as we take you on an off-piste adventure running experience like no other. There will be everything from running tracks and trails to water-filled areas and plenty of steep hills. From “Lucifer’s Lido” to the “Bog of Doom”, expect to get smelly and wet! It will be nature at its toughest.
The course will be marked but do not expect to see mile or kilometre markers... that’s for those softy road running types.
Aid Stations:
One drinks station will be at about the halfway point, a second between the Bog of Doom and Lucifer’s Lido and another at the finish. However, please bring your own water to drink before and after the event start. Medical support will be present on the course and at the finish.
Awards:
Awards will be made as follows: The fastest 3 men & first 3 women from Wave 1 runners. There will be NO age-group prizes. Prize winners will be issued with their prize on the day and if they are not present will be notified by post within one week of the event.
Spectators:
Spectating is free and encouraged.
Parking:
There is a free car park
Post Party:
Hot food and drinks will be available for purchase at the venue.
Other:
There will be a small male and female changing area available at the event hub. However, we recommend that all runners arrive at the event already changed and bring additional warm and dry items to put on for your return journey. We regret that there are NO SHOWER facilities on site at the venue.
