Course Description:
There will woods, big hills, natural obstacles to overcome, water to cross and 11 man made obstacles.
These obstacles will require you to climb, crawl, balance and slide. The terrain will be rugged and challenging with various elevations both man made and natural and lots of mud!
Aid Stations:
There will be 3 aid stations on the course with Paramedics on standby. There will be water available at the end of the course and at aid stations.
Prizes:
There will be some contests for fun in the Refuge Zone and there will be prizes awarded here.
Those that complete the race with at least 1 life(flag) will get a medal at the end of their race.
Spectators:
Spectators are free for race. There will be designated viewing areas.
They will have access to food and vendors but there will be a $25.00 charge for The Refuge After Party!
Parking:
There will be plenty of on sight parking.
Post Party:
The Refuge After Party is going to be awesome! We will have live music starting at 11:00 with entertainment going all afternoon. The Main act will be a Nationally Touring artist(TBA) and will go on at 4:00. A DJ will take over after that and the party will continue.
There will be food, beer, vendors, games and fun for the whole family.
Other:
$5.00 of every ticket will benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities
There will be a bag check available
There will be a wash and changing area
You do not need to swim to compete. There is an area in shallow water where you will cross over a small pond, but ropes will be there as well with Certified Lifeguards on duty.
There will be a 1 mile Fun Run/Walk for $5.00 that will all got to Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Team:
Team discounts are as follows:
4-15 will get additional $5.00 off per person
16-29 will get additional $10.00 off per person
30 + will get $10.00 off per person PLUS we will give Ronald McDonald House and additional $5.00 per runner.
