Race Start Time:

8:00am is the first heat.
Participants will go in groups of 25 every 10 min.
The last heat is at noon.
No ""elite"" heat.

Hodges Family Farm Run Join us for a day of dirt, obstacles and fun at the inaugural Hodges Family Farm April Fools Run! This 5k race will start near the historical farmhouse and take you all across the acreage of this century old farm.
The obstacles will put your muscles and strength to the test, but they will not be impossible - we want this to be fun! So, invite your friends and join us!

Course Description:

The course will take you through the fields of Hodges Family Farm.
You will encounter 8-10 obstacles (non too hard), some mud, a creek, a wooded area and more.

Aid Stations:

Paramedics will be on hand, as well as nurses from the local CVS Minute Clinic.
The local fire station is approx 2 miles away.
Fruit, water and other refreshments will be provided at the finish line.

Spectators:

Spectators free but will need to pay to park.

Parking:

$10/car - carpooling recommended.
All parking is on-site and no shuttles will be needed.

Post Party:

Olde Mecklenburg Brewery will be on hand, as well as a wood fired pizza vendor at the ROOTS food truck.
Local musicians will be playing and it will be a fun, festive, family-friendly event!

Other:

The owner of the property, Frank Hodges, is working with local charities.
Each charity that signs up a participant will receive a $5 donation/registrant. Charities must be pre-registered.
There will be a baggage claim area + segregated and covered shower area.

Team:

Welcome to race as a team, just sign up for the same way, but there are no official teams.
