Distress The Dress Get revenge on your closet's worst fashion faux pas in this outrageously tacky 5k mud run.

Southern bell bridesmaids and cumberbuned prom kings don their fashion faux pas for a final hurrah. Dripping with tasteless reminders of by-gone eras, invite your family, friends, and co-workers to shred some old memories while making a few new ones in this 5k challenge course!

This event is noncompetitive and not timed, so we won’t think you’re lame if it takes you a little longer to complete the event – we’ll respect you for doing your best and getting muddy anyway. We want you to have a fun time, so if you find an obstacle too challenging, you may bypass it and continue on. Ultimately, if you have any questions about your physical ability, consult your doctor before registering.

Course Description:

Conquer 10 obstacles and mud in your truly pukeworthy dress or suit from the cobwebs of your closet or corner of your local thrift shop and then bring it to its demise. Laugh the whole way as you distress your dress (or tux) through our muddy obstacle course and then party at the finish line alongside your dreadfully dressed comrades. You are here to have fun running through mud, jumping over obstacles, running up and down hills.

Post Party:

Take time to celebrate your accomplishments with rockin’ live music and mouth-watering refreshments from our food stand. There will also be clothing and other gear for sale at our store to keep you looking your very best. So stay awhile and party with the tackiest of crowds!

Other:

Bring a towel and a bag for your muddy clothes. Distress the Dress is happy to be teaming up with Children's HopeChest, a charity dedicated to bringing communities together to help orphans all over the world.
You must be at least 13 years old on the day of the race to participate.

Team:

It doesn’t matter what size your team is, we just want you to have a good time.
