The Swanbourne Endeavour The Swanbourne Endeavour is an event for all fitness levels, but you wont find it easy. From the 5km Kids Endeavour to the slightly longer 5km Adult Endeavour (min age 15 years) and the tougher 10km Adult Endeavour there is something to challenge the young and the old. From 12 year olds to rusting 80+ year old grannys, many have felt the accomplishment of running, climbing, crawling and dragging themselves round the course. As with all extreme challenges we strongly advise you to consult a medical practitioner before participating, especially if you are pregnant, person with disabilities, or have recently suffered an illness, injury, or impairment.
You can enter the “CHALLENGE Event” and saunter around the course, enjoying the views….. or the “ELITE Event”, to push yourself towards victory. The 10km will be a punishing, action-packed course suitable for endurance race veterans or competitors who are suitably fit. Hills, woods, streams, hedges, hummocks and hay bales will all be thrown into the mix

Course Description:

Swanbourne lies in beautiful countryside between the towns of Aylesbury, Milton Keynes and Buckingham UK, making the event very accessible. The village dates back to Norman times and boasts a historic church, two schools, a shop and an award-winning pub, The Betsey Wynne – perfect for sweaty, mud-caked competitors to refuel after the race.
No better place to collectively celebrate beating the Admirals cunning obstacles such as “Keel Haul, “The Tar Pit”, “The French Sailors Toilet” and “The Damned Hollanders Swamp” to name but a few.
Hay bales, wade through streams and conquer the tough terrain of Buckinghamshire in the Swanbourne Endeavour. The 10km will be a punishing, action-packed course suitable for endurance race veterans or competitors who are suitably fit. Hills, woods, streams, hedges, hummocks and hay bales will all be thrown into the mix.

Aid Stations:

We will have multiple aid stations. St John Ambulances and team for aid at the event. We also have use of school changing rooms and toilets.

Awards:

The awards ceremony will take place at 13.00 at Swanbourne House. Apologies for those who are still competing at this stage. Awards are presented as follows:

Spectators:

Spectators are free with designated viewing areas around the course.

Parking:

Parking is plentiful on site and free of charge.

Tea served after the race.

100% of the funds raised from this event are donated to our nominated charities: SSAFA, The Royal British Legion, The Bucks Services Charities and Medical Detection Dogs

Team:

Teams do participate and you can run as a sole participant. You can register your team at the sign up stage
