Course Description:
Scafell Pike is England’s highest mountain at 978m above sea level. No medal for guessing how much climbing you’ll be doing at hell in the Chilts. But a medal for finishing? Go on then.
There’ll be a memorable water feature too. It will make for a refreshing change.
Aid Stations:
Medical support will be present on the course and at the finish. There will be a drink station with bottled water at approximately the half-way point. Bottled water will also be available at the finish.
Prizes:
The first 3 men & first 3 women across the line will be awarded prizes on the day at the venue.
Prize winners will be issued with their prize on the day and if they are not present will be notified by post within one week of the event.
Parking:
The signed HellRunner event parking area is on grassland and free of charge.
Please note that owners park at their own risk.
The parking area is a short 1- 2 minute walk from the main event hub.
Other:
There will be a manned baggage area close to the Start / Finish. Please note that we cannot guarantee the safety of any item(s) left in this area. All baggage shall be left at the owner’s risk.
There will be a small male and female changing area available at the event hub. However, we recommend that all runners arrive at the event already changed and bring additional warm and dry items to put on for your return journey. We regret that there are NO SHOWER facilities on site at the venue.
Toilets will be available within the event hub and close to the start / finish area.
