KC Timber Challenge The KC Timber Challenge course is located on over 130 wooded acres along the banks of the Kansas River. We thought it would be fun to incorporate a more natural obstacle course using our unique terrain and landscape as much as possible. Be prepared for a 5k obstacle course including: Mud, Fire, Ice, Bluff Climbs, a 7 story tower climb, our signature hand held ZIP LINES stretching over 300 feet of mud pits and more to be announced soon. This is not a race… it’s a personal and team building challenge. All challengers are encouraged to dress in the wildest costumes and push their individual limits. This course is designed to test your stamina and will to succeed, with one WILD ASS party to celebrate your accomplishments at the end. Beware the 'Squatch' for we’re letting him loose on the streets of Kansas City to motivate you to 'Unleash Your Inner Beast'!

Course Description:

2 mile fun run packed with TONS of obstacles for the whole family to enjoy (recommended ages 5+). In addition to our one of a kind terrain we are presenting 25+ obstacles including: Foam Pit, Pool Noodle Forest, Teeter Totters, climbing walls, tunnels, mud, our legendary vertigo bus and many more!
But wait… there’s more! This season we’ll have a MASSIVE FESTIVAL AREA with free entertaining and interactive vendor booths, face painters, music, games & loads of fun family activities. Space is limited. Come make muddy memories at this must attend event!

Aid Stations:

Medics on standby, with safety personnel at every obstacle course. Water stations throughout course as well. Snack and water available at end of race.

Spectators:

Spectator designated viewing area available but may not roam freely.

Parking:

Parking is $10 and is within 1-2 minute walking distance of event grounds.

Post Party:

This season we’ll have a MASSIVE FESTIVAL AREA with free entertaining and interactive vendor booths, face painters, music, games & loads of fun family activities. Picnic area available for outside food/drink in addition to vendors

Shower and changing stations available. Recommended to bring change of clothes or towel.
