Course Description:
Take home all of the glory when you complete as many laps as you can on Shale Hill’s 10K Obstacle Course.
24 brutalizing hours starting at 9AM on August 1st and finishing at 9AM on August 2nd.
Registration for participants and support staff is required for infield access to recovery and Start/Finish line areas.
Support staff are allowed to run the course with you to provide support, sustenance and motivation! Porto-johns, medic, water, and bananas available throughout the duration of the event.
Headlamps are required between dusk to dawn.
Support crews are welcome, and can run the course with you, but only your laps count. Open and Journeyman divisions available.

FRIDAY, JULY 31 - Arrive anytime after 9am to set-up your base camp area in TENT CITY. This will be located at the start/finish area of the course. Nearby will be base camp, medic, grills for cooking, running water and Porto-lets.
6pm FRIDAY, JULY 31 - Pre-race social and briefing of the following day's event. Enjoy getting to know your fellow comrades and then get yourself a good night's rest. Post time is 9am Saturday morning.
8:30am SATURDAY, AUGUST 1 - Racer's briefing.
9:00am SATURDAY, AUGUST 1 - 9:00am SUNDAY, AUGUST 2 - YOU RACE FOR 24 HOURS!!!
10:00am SUNDAY, AUGUST 2 - AWARD'S CEREMONY.
SUPPORT CREW REGISTRATION:
All support crew members will need to register. The fee is $60. This includes a t-shirt, refreshments, access to the course for racer support and insurance.
EMT/MEDIC SUPPORT:
The event will be staffed with a full-time medic/EMT on premises for the duration of the race. Local FIRST RESPONSE is on-call for the event.
Team:
Option 1: Four person teams. Find three friends, compete competitively in the open division or as a journeyman. Every lap counts - if you want go out, all four together - thats four laps. If you want to send two people out at a time (recommended at night), or take it relay style - every lap each member of your team completes counts.
Option 2: Two person competitive teams. You and a buddy to push yourselves. Every lap counts. Competitive only, no journeyman option.
