Course Description:
Participants will test themselves as they balance, climb, swing, and crawl through cowboy themed obstacles such as Hangman Hill, Yellow Belly Gutch, Desperado, and more. The course is mostly flat, however, we do use the hills on the fairground, as well as a wooded area and water areas. You will be in knee deep water (with a muddy bottom) if you fail to navigate some of the obstacles the first time. Due to the layout of the course on the Washington County Fairgrounds, participants will run thru the course twice-- twice the number of obstacles! There will be mud.
Some of our obstacles have City Slicker Exits. There is a height requirement for some of the larger obstacles. If you don't meet the requirement or do not want to navigate the obstacle, there is a smaller version of the same obstacle to which you will be directed. You may choose to skip the junior version of any obstacle as well.
Aid Stations:
You can stop at the watering hole! We will have Ranch Hands stationed at every obstacle along the route. They will be wearing bright colored shirts so they will be easily recognized.
