If you thought there were no hills in the Netherlands, think again! Challenge your friends to join you for the 7km, 13km or 19km Hills Edition in Amsterdam! Oorah!
The Strong Viking Hills Edition is back in Amsterdam! Aside from the height differences and the challenging terrain, you will have to conquer many spectacular obstacles and even snow in the SnowPlanet indoor ski slope. The Strong Viking Hills Edition takes place at the Spaarnwoude Recreational terrain and offers 3 different distances: Lightning 7km, Warrior 13km & Beast 19km! Are you and your friends strong enough to finish together on the Walhalla Steps?
The toughest marathon in the World is back in Amsterdam: The Iron Viking, with 42km and 100+ obstacles! Are you Strong Enough? The ultimate obstacle run challenge is back in Amsterdam, the place where it all began in 2014! Last year more than 1.200 participants from all over the World took on the Iron Viking challenge in Amsterdam. It is the toughest obstacle run marathon in the World with a 42km track and 100+ obstacles that must me conquered.

Free! Of course, you are very welcome to come and encourage the participants! Entrance to the area is free and open from 8:30am.

After the event it is possible to wash off/shower in separate shower areas for men and women (except Family Edition). However, there are no closed shower cabins.
The minimum participation age varies according to the distances:
3km: min. age 5 years old (or becomes 5 in that calender year)
5km: min. age 10 years old (or becomes 10 in that calender year)
7 and 13 km: min. age 14 years old (or becomes 14 in that calender year)
19 km and OCR Series: min. age 16 years old (or becomes 16 in that calender year)
Iron Viking (42km): min. age 18 years old
Ultra Viking (60km): min. age 18 years old
