Frontline OCR was founded by Ed Leon in July of 2016. Leon was inspired by the desire to create an event that would help raise awareness for first responders and the military. As someone who works in law enforcement, he has seen first hand the sacrifices made to protect the public. The five-mile obstacle race with over 37 obstacles has quickly become a favorite for many.
Zombie Charge offers you a unique obstacle racing experience, zombies included. The race series was started in 2013 with events in Connecticut, Houston, and Miami. It was one of the first zombie-themed races in the industry and allows racers to sign up as runners (called “survivors”) and be chased OR for the first time sign up as a zombie and get a makeover and chase runners.
THE BIGDOGBRAG has become a small obstacle race staple in Colorado. While some areas of North America an obstacle race or two can easily be found every weekend, other locations are not that lucky. Although not common in most obstacle races a crew does pop up in some of the more extreme endurance events like Worlds Toughest Mudder as well as is commonplace in ultramarathons and other endurance endeavors. The Midwest’s favorite race series, Conquer The Gauntlet, is once again thinking outside the box with several of their events this year. In 2016, they did something that no other race series has done by hosting a combined event with another brand, Conquer The Gauntlet- Extreme Timber Challenge (CTG-XTC) was held in late September 2016 with resounding success.
