OCR World Championships to Add New Race Format for 2019 OCRWC

Next Monday, December 3 2018, Adventurey is set to announce a new, innovative race format for the 2019 OCR World Championships which will be held 45 minutes north of London on October 11 through 13, 2019. Today, we caught up with Adventurey's CEO and OCRWC Founder, Adrian Bijanada to get some insight into the additions and/or changes will mean for the existing OCRWC events.

Spartan Expands Trail Series for 2019 After Successful Test Races

After Spartan dipped their toes into the trail running world in 2018, they are all in for 2019. Currently, Spartan has twelve trail races scheduled around the country with two legends helping lead the charge. Legendary runners Charlie Engle and Luis Excobar will be leading the change and helping bridge the trailrunning and Spartan culture. Their experience will help to create a new type of trail race.

2018 World’s Toughest Mudder Results

The 8th annual World's Toughest Mudder took place over the weekend outside of Atlanta, Georgia. Nearly 1,700 athletes from all around the world converged to tackle not only obstacles but also the weather for a grueling 24 hours of racing. Rea Kolbl defended her title while Kris Mendoza won his first WTM. In the team relay race, it was Lindsay's Angels who took the win and on the 2+ team - Team Atomik emerged the victor.

WTM Goes BIG & 10 New 2019 Tough Mudder Obstacles

Today, Tough Mudder Inc., announced brand-new, better-than-ever obstacles for the 2019 event season. The new obstacles including signature features, will be first put to the test at World’s Toughest Mudder – the most extreme, insane, imposing, pulse-pounding, heart-stopping obstacle course challenge on the planet. Elite athletes including former World’s Toughest Mudder champion, Ryan Atkins, Lindsay Webster, Allison Tai and military veteran and Dancing with the Stars competitor, Noah Galloway will join over 1,500 participants at the grueling, 24-hour extreme endurance race on November 10 and 11 in Atlanta, GA.

Jon Albon One Step Closer to Spartan $1 Million

After this weekend, Albon is one step closer to the $1 Million dollar prize winning the Trifecta Weekend Championship in Greece. Mario Lopez Surprises Tough Mudders in SoCal

You never know who you will see at an obstacle course race. This past weekend participants at the Tough Mudder SoCal were surprised when Mario Lopez showed up at the start line. Lopez spent the say encouraging racers and coaching them through some of Tough Mudders signature obstacles.
