This is an unprecedented method to rank and create a global narrative surrounding the best male and female pro athletes throughout the year, leading up to the 2019 championships.
Warrior Dash, the obstacle course race that more than 3 million people have completed since 2009, today announced the launch of the Biggest Team Award. Beginning at Warrior Dash Georgia, held April 13, participants can recruit their training group, OCR team, or running buddies for a chance to attain a Warrior-worthy prize. The biggest team at each 2019 Warrior Dash event will receive bragging rights, a Biggest Team trophy, and special recognition through Warrior Dash channels, in addition to a designated space in the on-site festival area reserved for their team as a meetup spot and recruitment area for their team.
Each contestant will receive a two-minute headstart and have the chance to win $1,000,000 when they run the Million Dollar Mile. Standing in their way is the most challenging course ever designed and the Defenders - stocked with OCR Elite athletes like Hunter McIntyre, Rebecca Hammond, and Robert Killian, Jr. - whose goal is to defend the million dollar prize.
