She founded DirtinYourSkirt.com, an OCR community for women as well as former contributing editor for Mud and Obstacle Magazine and industry expert for About.com. She authored the book Obstacle Race Training.

Winter can be a tough time to get out and think about training for an upcoming obstacle race. Between snowstorms, frigid weather, and this winter even temperatures dropping below freezing in Florida. Spartans from around the world will converge on Lake Tahoe once again this year for the 2018 Spartan World Championships. This marks the fourth year at the Olympic venue of Squaw Valley. With the village, ski resort, and outdoor activities all around Lake Tahoe the location makes an ideal championship location.

Savage Race Unveils Savage Blitz for 2018

Savage Race announced today a new offering to their obstacle racing menu today with the official introduction of Savage Blitz a 3-mile and 15-20 obstacle fast-paced new obstacle race series to complement the original 5-7 mile offering. Savage Race will be testing out the new format in four markets for the 2018 season with their hopes set on expanding in 2019. 

New Jersey’s Raceway Park Closes for Drag Racing Continues as OCR and Concert Venue

After 50 years of Drag Racing at New Jersey's Raceway Park, the owners have decided to cease drag racing operations. With the rising cost of fuel, insurance, and other factors the owners of the iconic location in New Jersey have decided to shutter the doors. For obstacle racing fans, have no fear, Raceway Park will continue to be a muddy venue for the tri-state area.

The experienced trainer, obstacle course racing athlete, and all around fitness expert has years of experience in the obstacle racing space in a variety of capacities. Hardcore Mudd Run Teams up With American Red Cross
