Savage Dash It’s a Spooner thing - Jack Pine Savage Days Savage Dash is a 5K mud/obstacle race and a featured event at Spooner's summer festival, Jack Pine Savage Days (JPSD). The 2nd Annual JPSD Savage Dash challenges racers with 10-15 unique and fun, yet demanding obstacles, different terrains, and of course...MUD! Racers will receive a cool dry-fit shirt, free admission into the Entertainment Tent with live music, and two beverage tickets.

JPSD Savage Dash has partnered with the Wisconsin National Guard to bring you a 5K mud run that will fuel those rush seekers and keep them coming back for more. Run with someone. Run for someone. Run for mud. Run for fun. Run to win. Just run! JPSD Savage Dash hosted almost 200 racers from all over the region in its very first year. Run with the friends you bring, or run with the friends you meet along the way. You are not gonna want to miss this muddy adventure - The first of its kind in Spooner, Wisconsin! They say it’s something in the water.

Course Description:

Our course has 10-15 obstacles that are challenging but not scary- No fire, no electricity.
They include a giant slip and slide, high low hurdles, a fireman's pole, and of course the mud pit! It is timed, but most are just running for fun!

Aid Stations:

There is a water station halfway through the race and water at the finish line
We have a dedicated ambulance truck/ 6 wheeler present for the duration of the race

Awards:

We have custom built awards for top male and female

Prizes:

Custom built award for best costume

Spectators:

Spectators are free
Viewing area by the finish line mud pit and start line
During the race there is a entertainment tent with music, refreshments, and also food booths set up.

Parking:

Parking is free

Join us after the race for Jack Pine Savage Days entertainment
Live music during the race and Time Machine on stage after the race
Food booths and beer tent

Other:

Minimum age for the race on Fri is 16, but join us Sat Aug 2nd for the first Kids Dash!
