Course Description:
Tame the Terrain is a 4+ mile obstacle race that takes participants up and down the hills of Jennings County, Indiana trekking rock walls, ravines, cliffs, ponds, tunnels and the Muscatatuck River. There are 30+ different obstacles set within the terrain of Muscatatuck County Park to challenge participants in a beautiful, natural setting.
Aid Stations:
Multiple aid stations on the course. Paramedics on site. Water and Bananas available at the finish line
Awards:
Awards will be given for the top 3 male and top 3 female overall finishers (winners are not eligible for age group awards). Custom T3 awards will be given to the top 3 male and top 3 female finishers in each age group. Both the competitive and non-competitive groups will be competing for these awards.
Spectators:
YES, we encourage spectators to come out and enjoy the music, food, drinks, atmosphere and opportunity to watch the participants ""Tame the Terrain"". Spectating is FREE and parking will be available for $10 per vehicle.
Parking:
Parking will be available at $10 per vehicle. Please have cash ready. This includes spectator parking- please inform your fans and personal photographers that they will have to pay for parking! Car-pooling saves on gas and parking fees.
Post Party:
Food and Drink available for sale. DJ with Rockin' sounds!
Other:
Primitive Washing Facilities available. Tame the Terrain is a not for profit fund raiser that benefits the Jennings County parks and also the area youth. Please come and support our event and the community.
