Race Start Time:
Packet pick-up will begin at 0630-0845 and the race will commence at 0930. The 1st wave of racers will be sent off at 0930 and each proceeding wave will be sent on 15-minute intervals. The last heat usually leaves by 12:00.

Course Description:
The course is both flat and hilly. There are easier portions and much tougher rigorous portions (on the mountain). List of stations and obstacles. This is the ""title"" of each obstacle, not a description. Remember, this is a ""combat challenge,"" use your imagination for what it may be.

Aid Stations:
First aid available at race start point and there will be EMS personnel at various stages of the race and an ambulance if needed. There will be water stations at different race interval points and the race end.
Awards:
Awards: Individual Female, Individual Male, Group Female, Group Male, Coed Team, Fastest Individual. The awards are plaques, there are no money prizes. Remember, this is a fundraising event!

Spectators:
Spectators are free and invited to attend and cheer on their team or participant. The course is open to all to view and observe.
Parking:
Parking will be directed by road guards and will be designated by signs upon the arrival at Norwich University.
Other:
The goal of the race is to raise awareness and money for wounded Military veterans who have served and who currently serve. It is important to recognize the American heroes who have made the ultimate sacrifice and show them our support. All funds generated are donated to the Semper Fidelis Society nationally to support those needing it. There is no minimum age requirement, however, please consider the challenges of the event before signing yourself or someone else up. There is no children's race. Swimming is not required, the river portion is 4' at its deepest point. There is no gear check, however please review the course challenges and description to be prepared as well as bring a set of ""change"" clothes for after you finish the race.
Team:
Teams are welcome. Teams consist of four (4) members, but Teams of three are accepted. No special scoring is in place for teams, the team has to finish ""together"" and that time is the scored time. There is a $5 per team member discount when signing up and racing as a team.
