Race Start Time:
The 5K Competitive heat will leave at 9am with a maximum of 75 registrants. This heat is the only on that will be timed and is meant for those who are trying to complete the course in the fastest time.
The 5K Recreational waves will leave at 9:15, 9:45 & 10:15.
The 2K Mud Run for Heart waves leave at 10:30, 10:45 & 11:00.
All heats have a maximum of 75 participants.

Course Description:
The 5K course is built on Poley Mountain, a ski hill. The participants will encounter 22+ obstacles as they climb and descend the mountain. If you can’t complete the obstacle we have volunteers at each obstacle to help guide you. If you still can’t complete it, you can go around it.
The 2K Family Mud Run version of the main route and navigates full-size obstacles, which will allow families to experience this fun and healthy activity together. Children 5-13 must be accompanied by an adult and can only participate in the Family Mud Run. Participants will encounter 8+ obstacles on this course.
Aid Stations:
First Aid will be provided by the Poley Mountain Ski Patrol with stations throughout the hill. Water stations will also be available throughout the course. At the finish line there will be water and bananas.
Spectators:
Spectators are welcome and can view from the patio of the Poley Mountain lodge or roam the course freely.
Parking:
Registration fees include taxes and on-site parking.
Other:
Mud Run for Heart is put on by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick and ALL funds raised remain in the province to help support the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick.
The minimum age to participate is 5! Children 5-13 must be accompanied by an adult and can only participate in the 2K Family Mud Run.
The 5K Competitive course is the only heat that will be timed.
There will be a Gear Check at the registration area for a donation.
Clean up is with cold water only and a communal tent is available for changing when you are through.
Team:
You can enter as a team or as an individual. Teams can be as big or small as you need. This event is about overcoming challenges, team building, and sharing an incredible experience… all while helping a great cause.
