Registration check-in begins at 6:30am. Opening ceremonies at 7:30am.
Half Marathon begins at 8:00am, 5K begins at 8:10am and 1 Mile at 10:00am.

Great American Hero Great American Hero features over forty obstacles to challenge your fitness! The first obstacle run has modified obstacles for all fitness levels. Choose to compete in the 5k or 10k course with two levels of obstacles at each site. Want to compete with those in top competitive fitness? We got a grueling course just for you. Choose to race in the 10k “Elite” wave, and we’ll pair you up with only the best. The “Elite Wave” is limited to the first 200 participants and will have an opportunity of winning the Great American Hero trophy for top male/female and gain Great American Hero bragging rights.
It’s the perfect event to get sweaty, get muddy, show your patriotism, and have fun!

Course Description:

Choose a Half Marathon, 5K or 1 Mile Family Run along the majestic San Joaquin River, through varying terrain, including scenic farmland, levee roads, groomed trails, hills, sand and gravel.

Aid Stations:

No aid stations will be available.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase at event.

Prizes:

Placement ribbons for top finishers male/female age groups 14-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60 and up

Spectators:

Spectators are free and encouraged to root on their participants!

Parking:

Parking is free.

Post Party:

Post race music and Barefoot Bar/Bistro will be open for snacks, bistro items, ice cream and full bar. Come for the run and stay for all day fun! Rock out to DJ Chago, food and beach time.

Other:

Packet pickup location and times will be announced later. You may also pickup at day of event. Lines will be long so arrive early. Download, print and bring waivers and ID on day of packet pickup.
Bring a change of clothes, towel, and a plastic bag for the ride home. 10k course includes water. We have new changing rooms available. Bring some cash for food, beer, and vendors on site. Limited ATM services. Valid over 21 ID required for beer.
Bag check will be available, but leave valuables at home or locked in cars.
There are no refunds. Dogs are not allowed.
