US Canine Biathlon The U.S. Canine Biathlon was created not only for those who love the challenge of obstacle racing, but their canine companions.
The U.S. Canine Biathlon is open to all types of Handler-Canine teams including Civilian, Military, or Police Dog teams.
In addition, the race is open to challengers and thrill seekers of all ages and experience levels.
Scores will be determined not only by time, but also criteria based on the age of both the runner and the canine partner.
The U.S. Canine Biathlon is also open to individual entries who wish to complete without a canine partner.

Course Description:

The course will be set on many different surfaces and there will be changes in elevation.
There are over 15 obstacles to challenge the runner and their canine partner.
The obstacles vary from low crawls, hurdles, pools of water, large ""A"" climbing obstacle, to climbing over vehicles.

Aid Stations:

We will have water points at each obstacle with orange slices at the finish line.
EMS will be on standby as well as veterinarian support.

Awards:

Top scores will be presented at an awards presentation.

Spectators:

Spectators are free.
There will be designated viewing areas and they may also roam the course freely.

Parking:

Parking will be on site and is free.

Post Party:

There will be a post party BBQ with entertainment

Other:

The proceeds will help fund the AMK9 Academy Canine Memorial Wall, dedicated to all Working Dogs across the globe.
There is no minimum age as long as accompanied by an adult.
The event will be timed, there will be water obstacles but not a need for swimming.
There will be wash down areas after the race for you and your canine partner.
