Course Description:

The edition where is all began in 2013 is back! The Strong Viking Water Edition takes place on Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th of June 2019 at the Berendonck in Nijmegen!
On Saturday the 15th and Sunday the 16th of June the Strong Viking Water Edition is back at the Berendonck where it all began 6 years ago! Get ready for a 7km, 13km or 19km obstacle run track with the most challenging obstacles and much more! The Strong Viking Water Edition is chosen, for 5 years in a row, as best obstacle run in the Netherlands with obstacles like the Water Hill, Water Road, Storm the Castle and last but not least: de 12 meter high Fjord Drop!

Free! Of course, you are very welcome to come and encourage the participants! Entrance to the area is free and open from 8:30am.

Post Party:

Just like last year, there will be a special Strong Viking Camping only 200m from the Start/Finish area with BBQ, DJ and many other (international) Vikings!

Other:

After the event it is possible to wash off/shower in separate shower areas for men and women (except Family Edition). However, there are no closed shower cabins.
The minimum participation age varies according to the distances:
3km: min. age 5 years old (or becomes 5 in that calender year)
5km: min. age 10 years old (or becomes 10 in that calender year)
7 and 13 km: min. age 14 years old (or becomes 14 in that calender year)
19 km and OCR Series: min. age 16 years old (or becomes 16 in that calender year)
Iron Viking (42km): min. age 18 years old
Ultra Viking (60km): min. age 18 years old

After the event it is possible to wash off/shower in separate shower areas for men and women (except Family Edition). However, there are no closed shower cabins.
