Course Description:
There’s no getting around it – London is a beast of a city. Sprawling, diverse, and busy, one event a year in the capital just isn’t enough. So we’ve found an awesome new spot in Morden Park, where you’ll get a beautiful run through perfect parkland, with amazing views of the city skyline.
Like all our venues, this magnificent estate offers a multitude of different terrains, with woodland, open plains and rivers on offer throughout the routes.
Obviously, we’ll also have the whole range of our awesome obstacles. Our very own Sweeper, the towering heights of ‘Shafted’, an army of giant pigeons and loads more, all inspired by our favourite TV game shows, like Total Wipeout, Takeshi’s Castle, Fun House, Gladiators, Ninja Warrior and more.
Also, Roughian Rascals, a 1 mile course designed specifically for adventure-seeking kids from 7 to 15 years old. The course will give kids the chance to get wet, possibly a little muddy (weather dependent!), and experience some unique, cool and fun obstacles – in a safe and managed environment.
Aid Stations:
Water all the way through the course.
There will be medical services close to hand all through the site, with off-road vehicles to carry you back to the village if you need.
Spectators:
Spectators are free!
Parking:
We have a fully managed car park on site, and we have a traffic management system in operation with AA road signs in place showing where to go. Car parking is just £5 cash on the gate that covers the cost of operating all this.
Post Party:
The runners’ village will have food and drink outlets while for you buddies when finish!
Other:
Please arrive on site around 1 hour prior to your start time, to get yourself registered, set up and ready to run
