Course Description:
Utilizing the natural terrain of the historic Crandon International Off-Road Raceway grounds, our 10K run course will challenge the extreme elite athletes.
Walk, Run, crawl, climb – you will experience it all. If you reach an obstacle you are unable to overcome and is more of a challenge for you, feel free to take a detour but know to be eligible for individual participation awards you must complete all obstacles.
Aid Stations:
There will be an aid station set up with mobile access to the track. The City Rescue Squad and Police Dept. are made aware of the event and are on stand-by if called upon. There will be fruit and water available.
Spectators:
Spectators will receive free admission to the event race. Spectators are who energizes and encourages participants.

We are excited to be holding an event in Forest County that promotes physical activity, teamwork and, of course FUN. The Big House Legionnaire Mud Challenge will feature over 15 obstacles: some small, some big, some creative and some a bit wild. Taking part in this event is all about taking on obstacles in your life, overcoming them, and feeling a great sense of accomplishment.
This is a race designed for personal challenge and the goal is to complete the course. Amateurs, competitive and elite athletes will be competing for prizes and bragging rights. Individuals, Teams and Corporate groups will be able to register for the event.
We challenge businesses and organizations to form teams, to compete in the 3rd Annual Legionnaire Mud Challenge. Again, this is a great opportunity to get out and be physically active, build teamwork, and have FUN and support the community we live in. Registration cost (if received by April 1st) is $40/individuals for those wishing to participate solo. Price increases each month up until race day. Corporate discounted rates are available for businesses, organizations, and school districts.
If you have staff not interesting in taking the personal challenge but would like to volunteer, we have plenty of volunteer spots. A light meal will be provided as a thank you.
Team:
Create a team of friends, family and co-workers or run solo, it’s up to you. There is a minimum requirement of 4 teammates per team; there is no maximum however your team must finish collectively as a group. Teammates do not have to register at the same time. Once a Team Captain is established and has registered a team name, participants can register individually under a team name.
