Race Start Time:

Our Elite wave will start at 7:40am, followed by our 24 mile heat at 8:40am. Open heats start at 9:00am and the last heat is at 1:40pm. Heats are limited to 80 people.

Highlander Assault Join the Battle! The Highlander Assault Obstacle Series is a Highlander themed grueling but fun event. Featuring a 4 mile 20 obstacle option, an 8 mile 27 obstacle option, or if you are thirsty for more do both courses for a total of 12 miles and 47 obstacles to become a member of the Highlander Elite Black Watch. Black Watch 12 mile racers will receive a bonus Black Watch medallion! The Highlander Assault event will also feature the Highlander Village where you can hang out before and after the race enjoying D.J. music services, contests, several gourmet food vendors, beer, and sponsor give aways. Don't forget to take your picture with one of several Highlander Warriors in full garb walking the grounds.. Come join the battle and defeat the oppresive King's army, conquering the King's obstacle onslaught and raising the Highlander Flag to glory! Oh and if you are up for the challenge, don't forget your kilts!

Course Description:

The Highlander Assault Obstacle Series is a Highlander themed grueling but fun event. Featuring a 4 mile 20 obstacle option, an 8 mile 27 obstacle option, or if you are thirsty for more do both courses for a total of 12 miles and 50 obstacles, and 24 miles with 100 obstacles.

Aid Stations:

There will be a paramedic crew onsite. We will have attendants at the obstacles and in the event an aid is not present, an emergency radio will be available at each obstacle. There will be four water stations including the finish line. The Finish line will also include fruit or energy bars or both.

Awards:

We will have a ceremony for the winners of the elite heat, men, women, men (over 40) and women (over 40). We will also honor all of the finishers of the 24 mile course.

Prizes:

We have a largest team competition, winners receive a VIP tent.

Spectators:

Spectators are free!

Parking:

Parking is $10 on site, next to the venue

Post Party:

We will have a D.J., Food ,Games, and a kids Highlander Zone with inflatables.

Team:

Teams are encouraged and will be allowed to race together even if a heat is full.
