Race Start Time:
There will be competitive heats for both the half marathon and 6 mile courses going out at 8:15am and 8:30am respectively. Competitive heats will be limited to a maximum of 125 runners. Open heats for both distances will begin at 8:45 and come to a close at 10:30am. There will not be designated start times for those that register for the open heats. As soon as you and your team are ready to take on the course, make your way to the start line and go!
Note: Only those that register and run in a competitive heat will be eligible for top 3 awards.

Course Description:
There will be walls, sandbags, rope climbs, monkey bars, tire flips & drags, log carries, wire crawls 30% grades, swimming and a whole lot more! If it's tough, we will have it!
Our 13.1 mile course will have 25+ obstacles and our 6 mile course will be made up of 15+ obstacles. Still doubting our toughness? Don't take our word for it... Just listen to what our finishers from 2013 said. Quotes like, ""Harder than a Half Ironman"" and ""Tougher than 2 Tough Mudders Back to Back"" were some of our favorites.
Aid Stations:
There will be 4 aid stations spread out around the course. Approximately one every 3 miles. We learned our lesson last year!
Awards:
Top 3 Overall Men and Top 3 Overall Woman for each distance. (Must register for a competitive heat to be eligible). Prize packages will include, sponsor gift bags made of gift cards and giveaways.
Prizes:
In addition to Top 3 men and woman, this year we will have a Golden Tire Award:
Running the course in sub 2 hours is cool, but now it's time to truly challenge yourself by carrying a tire with you throughout the entire course. Think it's impossible? Think again! Justin Tarr and Alberto Garcia set the standard in 2013, now it's your turn to join them! All those that complete The Inferno with a tire will receive the Golden Tire Award.
Spectators:
Spectators are free, however signing our spectator waiver will be required upon entrance.
Parking:
Parking will be $10 and will be on the property next to the festival grounds. We recommend carpooling and also encourage athletes to come out the night prior as we now offer free camping to those registered or volunteering. Each participant has a 2 person non-racer allowance free of charge.
Post Party:
We will have DJ and live music, food and beverage vendors, sponsors, and lots of shade, and water this year!
Other:
You must be 18+ to compete. There is a swimming component to the event, however life jackets will be offered and if a participant needs to skip the swim there will be an alternative obstacle/penalty.
Team:
We encourage teams because there will be times when you need to lean on a friend to get you through an obstacle. There will be no team discounts, however the largest team will receive a 50% discount to our next event.
