Competitive waves start at 8:00am.
Standard waves start at 8:30am.
Kids races start at 1:00pm

Tame The Terrain The T3 race is roughly four miles. It may seem longer after going up and down the hills of Jennings County, rock walls, ravines, cliffs, ponds and, oh yeah, a river. Participants are expected to complete all the obstacles. If you are too scared, unable or just plain don't want to do an obstacle, no worries. Our volunteers will provide you with an alternative; can you say 'burpee?'' Good! Can you DO burpees? Start your training NOW! Part of the course includes water. Since Mother Nature is determining the amount (rain or drought), be prepared for a little or a lot. However, it will NOT be necessary to swim during the race.

Course Description:

Tame the Terrain is a 4+ mile obstacle race that takes participants up and down the hills of Jennings County, Indiana trekking rock walls, ravines, cliffs, ponds, tunnels and the Muscatatuck River. There are 25+ different obstacles set within the terrain of Muscatatuck County Park to challenge participants in a beautiful, natural setting. The course can be as easy or as challenging as the participant wants to make it.

Aid Stations:

Water and aid stations along the course. Volunteers at every obstacle and paramedics on site

Awards:

Standard waves - Age group awards - top 3 male and female in each division
Competitive waves - Top male and female will receive a free customized Legacy Line OCR Jersey from LEGENDBORNE

Spectators:

Spectators are free!!

Parking:

Parking is $10 per car and we encourage carpooling

Post Party:

Food and drinks available for sale along with a DJ to make for a great after party. Beer garden available for those that are 21+ years old

Other:

Tame the Terrain is a Not-for-profit fundraiser benefiting the youth of the Jennings County area.

Team:

Teams are welcome! You may specify your team or add yourself to an existing team at the time of registration.
