Course Description:
Panther Run is an adventurous 5K running race filled with heart pumping obstacles. Challenging enough for the most hardened mud/obstacle run veterans, but also friendly enough for beginners. We’ll have people along the way to help if you need it. Join us for a sweat drenched, mud slinging, obstacle saturated 5K dash through the woods and over the hills! Tap in to the fierceness of your inner Panther and conquer Panther Run! Do it solo or lead your best Panther team into battle. The ultimate in mud running – obstacle racing fun.
Aid Stations:
The local fire department will be on site and on call during the event.
There will be water stations on the course. The number depends on the heat.
Free water will be available after you cross the finish line.
Awards:
An insane amount of panther pride, awesome finishing medal, T-shirt, and more. No individual awards will be given out except for the 8AM Elite Heat.
Spectators:
Come out and see who survives! It’s free!! Support the racers and watch them have the time of their life!
Parking:
There is limited parking in comparison to the number of participants. Parking will be available for $10 per car space on race day. Please have cash ready. Car-pooling is highly encouraged.
Post Party:
Join us after you race for live music, good food (concessions on site or bring your own cooler), and great company!
Other:
Packet pick-up will be available on site, beginning one hour prior to
the first wave of the day.
Gear check will be available for racers to check their items during the race (like a coat check). Feel free to leave your keys, t-shirt, bag, etc and all those items you don’t want to carry with you during the race!
We believe fitness should be a very important part of any family, so we decided to allow anyone from 9 to 110 years old. Kids 9 years to 13 years old MUST run on a team with a parent or guardian.
We will be able to rinse the excess mud off of you after the race. This will consist of the fire department spraying you off. You are also welcome to take a dip in one of our ponds. There will be restrooms at the Ridge for you to change your clothes in.
Team:
First-time runners may want to run with some friends! There are two ways to do this. You can register separately and run together during the race, or you can register a 4 person team (we do allow up to 6 on a team) and save some money. Don’t forget to create a team costume to stand out!
