Race Start Time:
The first heat is the Competitive heat starting at 10:00 am, followed by regular heats taking off every 30 minutes until 1:30 pm. Kids Race (one mile) at 2:00pm. The heats have a maximum of 100 participants per run.

Course Description:
It features 4 miles of extreme trail running through some of Louisiana's toughest terrain, bolstered with tough military style obstacles that will push participants to their mental & physical boundaries. The course is revised each year; obstacles are added, moved and rotated, so that each year is a unique challenge. Runners will get plenty of mud, obstacles and challenge on the course as they navigate through mud pits, trek up hills and over barriers, have fun on the mud slide and try to keep themselves out of the Louisiana Swamp!
Aid Stations:
As with any outdoor obstacle running challenge, there are risks involved, but to ensure you make it safely to the finish line many precautions have been taken. Paramedics, aid stations and water stations are scattered throughout the course in case of an emergency, as well as safety personnel at all obstacles to ensure that all participants are safe.
Awards:
There are 2 awards given out, top male and top female in the competitive wave.
Spectators:
Spectators are FREE and encouraged to join the party. Show center has music, food, bounce houses for kids (weather permitting) and plenty more! Plus, participants finish the final 2 obstacles while spectators watch and cheer them on.
Parking:
Parking is also FREE!! The location is remote but easy to navigate to right off of Interstate 20. Participants will receive directions to the location once they have registered.
Post Party:
The party lasts until the last runner crosses the finish line. Music and food will be flowing all day, along with a bon-fire and a selfie station!
Team:
You can sign up & run as a team... in fact, it's encouraged to run as a team to help motivate each other. Wear your matching team shirts, bandanas, wrist bands, etc... to make it easier to find each other throughout the race! By creating a team, you are eligible for a discount of $5.
