Course Description:
5 Miles, 20+ Obstacles for the Open Heats
5-6 Miles 24+ Obstacles for the Elite and Heroes Heat.
Held on January 27, 2018, at The Mountain Top Ski Resort onsite at the Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva, WI. ASR takes over the ski hills, cross country ski and running trails and turns it into a 5 Snowy Mile, 20+ Obstacle, Winter OCR Event.
Aid Stations:
The Mountain Top Medical Ski team (approx 20 medical personnel) will be peppered along the route, and will have full extraction capability using appropriate snow enabled equipment. Medical ski teams will make camps throughout the course.
There is a full indoor medical facility on site for immediate treatment, and an ambulance standing by for more serious injuries.
Awards:
Cash Awards for Elites, Masters, and Heroes Heats
Elites Top 3 M/F - $500 , $250 , $100
Masters Elite (40+) - $300 , $200 , $100 (Only Master's in the Elite races)
Hero's Heat - $300 , $200 , $100
Awards are at 11am in the Awards Circle, located in the middle of ASR Base Camp.
Prizes:
Biggest team trophy, Presentation at 11:30a after Elite and Hero awards.
Spectators:
Spectators are free to roam the course in designated areas. Map will be provided at Check In on Race Day. And as always, Spectators are free to enter, but must sign a waiver to enter the course.
Parking:
Parking is $10 per car, and located at the onsite airport, just 1/4 mile from the course. Two buses will be circling to take racers to and from the parking lot. Parking is very limited. Please carpool.

Other:
Age limit for Elite and Hero heat is 17 and older. Age limit for Open heats is 12 and older.
Free Bag Check onsite, Heated Bathrooms, Heated Changing rooms, and outdoor firepits will be available.
Event is timed for all heats. Timing chip is included in price for Awarded heats (Elite and Hero). Open heats are just for fun, but if you want to be timed, you can purchase a timing chip at registration for $7.
LiL Yeti Kids race is for ages 4-11, and is a 1/2 mile course located on the bunny ski slopes. There are 8 obstacles (miniature versions of what Mom and Dad conquer). Kids get a shirt, hat, medal, and hot chocolate. Free pictures with the yeti too.
We have a strict no refund policy. However, racers can transfer their race to another racer for free, or can transfer their 2018 race to 2019. Race transfers from 2017 to 2018 do not qualify for transfer to 2019.
Team:
You can run as a team or as an individual. Team captain signs up first and creates the team. Then the team members select this team when registering.
