KC Timber Challenge The KC Timber Challenge course is located on over 130 wooded acres along the banks of the Kansas River. We thought it would be fun to incorporate a more natural obstacle course using our unique terrain and landscape as much as possible. Be prepared for a 5k obstacle course including: Mud, Fire, Ice, Bluff Climbs, a 7 story tower climb, our signature hand held ZIP LINES stretching over 300 feet of mud pits and more to be announced soon. This is not a race… it’s a personal and team building challenge. All challengers are encouraged to dress in the wildest costumes and push their individual limits. This course is designed to test your stamina and will to succeed, with one WILD ASS party to celebrate your accomplishments at the end. Beware the 'Squatch' for we’re letting him loose on the streets of Kansas City to motivate you to 'Unleash Your Inner Beast'!

Course Description:

This is a 5k with 20+ obstacles intended to get you up and out of the house preparing for an amazing 2018 events season. Join the Yeti 5k Winter OCR and get buck wild. Obstacles are somewhat weather dependent and will vary but we will make sure you have plenty of challenges in your way including our vertigo bus, FIRE and the always entertaining EPIC total car annihilation.
The 2017 season of events has been so fun that we could not imagine waiting till Spring to host another event. It may be cold outside in January but the Yeti don't care!

Multiple water stations, medics on site

Spectators:

Free access to spectators!

Parking:

$10 parking fee. Lot adjacent to Zip KC

Post Party:

Beer n Music for the after race party!

Other:

We also have showers to rinse of the mud and changing tents to get out of the wet clothes and into some dry ones. We recommend bringing a change of clothes, shoes, towel and a plastic bag for your wet clothes.We also have a shoe donation for a good cause.
The best part of this fun event is a portion of the proceeds benefit OPERATION HOMEFRONT our charity partner!
