Course Description:
The course track is set in a natural Florida conservation easement. There are a few hills, but not many. The course is pretty easy, and will have minor obstacles, including hay bails, hills, and a rope ladder. It is through wooded areas, though, so there are trees, and natural obstacles, as well.
Aid Stations:
We will have a paramedics on the property, as well as water stations throughout the course, and snacks and food at the finish line.
Awards:
We will have awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for competitive racers, and small awards for non-placing runners.
Prizes:
We will have prizes for the best costume, and we will also have giveaways such as coupons, gift baskets, etc.
Spectators:
Spectators will be charged regular admission to the gardens ($12), and they can roam freely through the gardens and the surrounding area!
Parking:
We will have a large area designated for parking.
Post Party:
We will have food, and the botanical gardens will be open and available to see.
Other:
All profits from the race will be given to Cedar Lakes Woods and Gardens, the non-profit 501(c)(3) botanical garden that the race is hosted at.
