Race Start Time:
The first wave of runners starts at 8 am. Waves of runners are launched every 30 minutes until 2 pm. To verify your start time, please refer to the confirmation email you received after completing registration. We recommend you arrive no less than 1 hour prior to your wave in order to ensure ample time for parking, registration and baggage check.

Course Description:
7SAR - 7 Summits Adventure Race simulates the experiences and challenges from the continent's highest summits into one single 7-mile obstacle course race, including an optional 3-mile course. Competitors will attack multiple obstacles including Elbrus' barbed-wire crawl, Carstensz's Pyramid zipline flyover, and Everest's Khumbu Ice Fall's ladder. 7SAR has several differentiators from other obstacle course races. The real-world experience behind our founders will ensure your overall experience is unmatched. Our adventure, designed by a world renowned mountaineer, brings you through 7 miles transformed into the different continents with corresponding obstacles, designed by a former US Navy SEAL BUD/S Instructor. Expect intensity like you never imagined with live weapons (blanks), demolition, ladder crevasse crossings, zip lines and many more heart-racing challenges.

Awards:
Overachievers, those that finish seven 7SAR events, earn the 7SAR Hall of Fame award; a personally inscribed handcrafted ice axe. These die hard racers will also be listed on the 7SAR Hall of Fame wall of honor, giving them bragging rights and setting the bar for all participants! Also, they will receive an Ice Axe Medal for 7SAR Summiteers
Prizes:
7SAR will guide an expedition to the summit of the highest point in Africa! Kilimanjaro, located in Tanzania, is the highest freestanding mountain in the world at 19,340′ (5,895m) and one of the 7 summits (highest peaks of the 7 continents). This is an experience of a lifetime and all you have to do is participate in a 7SAR event and raise money for a worthy cause!
The top 5 participants to raise the most money for our partner charities will win the 7SAR Expedition Prize. Participants must signup for a 7SAR race and raise funds for a selected charity under the registration page. You will receive an email with information for online donations, which you can forward to friends and family to help support your cause.
Spectators:
Free! Spectators are welcome and encouraged to come at no cost! Come cheer on your family and friends and enjoy the overall experience.

From the moment you enter the parking area you’ll notice you’re a part of something awesome! We take great pride in providing an overall amazing experience for everyone involved in 7SAR! That includes extending the experience to our home audience via webcam coverage. We provide entertainment as well as a much earned BBQ upon completion of the course. You won’t be disappointed!

You have the option to enter as an individual but you’ll be thankful you have help on the course if you come with your posse!
