Course Description:
The Chino Mudder 5k course is on high desert terrain soft dirt with many interruptions of gooey to milk chocolatey textured mud, mostly flat with some very low-low grade slopes. The course does contain some trees, bordering one side of the range. The course will be challenging but will not be a course Army boot-campers are used to. While the course will challenge you, you'll be more enticed by the fun factor. The Chino Mudder boasts more than 20 obstacle challenges to keep you interested in what's around the corner. Among those obstacles: Commando Crawl - a gooey crawl on knees and elbows, Tight Rope Shuffle - Unlike the Olympics you won't get a score you'll just go ""splat,"" Double Dip - we're kind enough to let you off your elbows- drudging is in order, Pyramid Haystack Scheme - we stack 'em high, leave your cowboy boots at home, Tunnels - see tunnel, crawl thru tunnel, Barrel Wall -a wall of large Barrels, participants must go under or go over to the other side, Logs, pits and Slide, OH MY... Mud Swing - Tarzan will not be present, give it your best effort. While we love sharing these experiences with you... we know you like a little surprise and mystery.

There will be 2 aid stations on site.
Awards:
Medals awarded to waves: 8:00am - Competition, 11:00am - Costume, 11:30 - First Responder Competition
Spectators:
Spectators are free!
Parking:
On-site parking is FREE, while you will have to walk from the parking area to the Chino Mudder site, you will not need a shuttle. Carpooling is always a good idea parking may get congested

If you are a non-swimmer, Mud levels won't exceed waist deep.
This event is a Fundraiser for the Parks and Recreations of Chino Valley, for park improvements and new projects.
We will have a rinse off station and a bag drop to check your items.
Minimum age for participation is 7 years old- with an adult. Youth must be 13 years old to participate on their own.
Team:
We have team rates for all those muddie buddies who enjoy slopping in the mud together. Team discounts for a team of two or teams of four. Come dressed up in costume for the 11:30 wave, so spectators can see your team and cheer you on… Or point and laugh!
