Mud Madness Run Welcome to Mud Madness Run for the Responders where you get to enjoy the challenge of one of the best mud obstacles courses around, while having the benefit of knowing your sweat equity is supporting local emergency responders!

This 5k course winds through the beautiful park landscape in Marshall County and is comprised of at least 15 large obstacles, from the Madness Mud Pits and the Great Wall, to the ‘Tiring Climb,” Plummet Slide, Sand Crawl and our feature attraction, a 200-foot drop appropriately called ‘Slide for Your Life.’

Course Description:

The two lap 8km route takes participants over, under and through more than 25 obstacles, some man made and some that are just naturally very muddy very and wet. The course is by far the muddiest one in Ireland. The course is manageable to all those who have a basic level of fitness .

Aid Stations:

There will be marshals stationed at each of the obstacles on the Jaffa Cakes Mud Madness course. They will be there for your safety and to assist competitors when required. Marshals will not be able to help all competitors so we have installed ropes at challenging climbs to help you out of the mud

Prizes:

Prizes will be awarded to the fastest three individual males, fastest three individual females, and to the fastest team in each race. We also have prizes for best fancy dress and a number of spot prizes. We are pleased to have Decathlon Belfast as the sponsor for the Prizes.

Spectators:

There are designated spectators areas from where you can see many of the obstacles. These areas are clearly marked and we would ask you please stay within these designated areas and do not enter other sections of the course.

Parking:

Parking is not available within the grounds at Foymore Lodge. Please park along the main A4 Dungannon Road – this is a very busy main road, please be extra careful.

Other:

There will be a number of toilets on site. Changing facilities are very limited and basic (marquees / tents). There are no bespoke showers, although as with previous years we will provide a basic system to help competitors wash off any excess dirt and mud.
