Highlander Assault Join the Battle! The Highlander Assault Obstacle Series is a Highlander themed grueling but fun event. Featuring a 4 mile 20 obstacle option, an 8 mile 27 obstacle option, or if you are thirsty for more do both courses for a total of 12 miles and 47 obstacles to become a member of the Highlander Elite Black Watch. Black Watch 12 mile racers will receive a bonus Black Watch medallion! The Highlander Assault event will also feature the Highlander Village where you can hang out before and after the race enjoying D.J. music services, contests, several gourmet food vendors, beer, and sponsor give aways. Don't forget to take your picture with one of several Highlander Warriors in full garb walking the grounds.. Come join the battle and defeat the oppresive King's army, conquering the King's obstacle onslaught and raising the Highlander Flag to glory! Oh and if you are up for the challenge, don't forget your kilts!

Course Description:

200 plus acres located next to the Fox River, this venue contains several creeks, two lakes, rolling hills, woodland trails, an off road rally track, paint ball course, mud, gravel, sand... you name it we have it. We offer: 4 miles 20 obstacles, 8 miles 27 obstacles or 12 miles 47 obstacles.

Aid Stations:

Paramedics on-site, fruit and water at finish, 4 water stations (one every 2 miles)

Awards:

Elite Heat awards ceremony. Elite Men and Elite Women top three win a trophy (1st place Sword, 2nd Place Battle Axe, 3rd place Dagger).

Prizes:

Prizes for largest group with wearing kilts, men's best Battle Beard and women's best Battle Biceps.

Spectators:

$5 per spectator (13 and under free) after party included.

Parking:

We always recommend carpooling, general parking will be $5 per car. Property owner will also have VIP parking at a higher rate.

Post Party:

Post Party will consist of food vendors, beer vendors, D.J., Live Highlanders walking the grounds, Bonus games and contest!

Other:

Minimum age is 14, with parental signature. A portion of our proceeds will go to the Illinois Law Enforcement Memorial, there will be a bag check for $2 a bag. Showers will be available. Changing tents will be available.

Team:

Teams are encouraged.
