Race Start Time:
7:00 AM. Heat times will be provided at Swamp Romp mandatory packet pickup will take place at the Health and Fitness Expo on Friday, 10 February 2017, at Kahuna's on MCB Hawaii from 4:00pm to 6:30pm. Timing chips and race packets will be distributed at the Fitness Expo. It is your responsibility to keep track of the timing chip and bib number for the race. WE WILL NOT PROVIDE REPLACEMENT CHIPS ON RACE DAY. Packets will not be available for pickup on race day.

Course Description:
This unique run crafted by the Marine Corps finest takes you through the Nu'upia Ponds and over/under tactical obstacles that challenge the strongest of competitors. It was the first, it is the best - THE SWAMP ROMP.
Aid Stations:
Aid stations, Corpsmen and volunteers will be heavily represented throughout the 3.5 mile course. Fruit and water will also be available at the finish line!
Awards:
Awards will be handed out to the top 3 finishers in each designated age category and team categories.
Prizes:
Gift cards and prizes will be handed out as we wait for all the competitors to finish! We will have fun games all racers are welcome to participate in!
Spectators:
Spectators are FREE of charge! Special event passes are welcome
Parking:
FREE! Please remember to bring your special event pass the day of the race for all non-DoD participants.
Post Party:
Live band and Oahu's own Maleko will be MCing and playing the best of today's alternative. Race t-shirt and chip timing are included with your entry fee. Additional shirts are available for purchase. Food trucks will also be on site and offering refreshments (not included in race fee).
Other:
NON-DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE (non- DoD) PARTICIPANTS MUST REGISTER NO LATER THAN 10 DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT.
Team:
Register as an individual or as a team of 5-6 members (must finish with no less than 5 team members). The minimum age to participate in this event is 10 years of age. Teams with children ages 10-13 need to have at least one adult (person 18 or over) on the team
