Course Description:
Tame the Terrain is roughly a four mile obstacle race that takes participants up and down the hills of Jennings County, trekking rock walls, ravines, cliffs, ponds, and the Muscatatuck River. Participants will be challenged by 20+ different obstacles set within the terrain of Muscatatuck County Park.
Aid Stations:
Paramedics will be on site.
At least two water stations will be along the course.
Refreshments will be available at the finish line.
Awards:
You are awarded bragging rights for participating in a T3 race!
Spectators:
There is a $10 parking fee for all vehicles for both participants and spectators. There are no additional spectating fees. There are designated viewing areas and spectators are free to purchase food, beverages, and other items from vendors.
Parking:
Parking will be $10, carpooling is recommended. Parking will be held in a large grass lot inside of the park.
Post Party:
Our party starts when the race starts and continues after. Music, food, and beverages will be available for purchase.
Other:
All proceeds earned by the Tame the Terrain obstacle race goes towards Youth and Young Adult Ministry at the Catholic Parishes of Jennings County ~St. Ann, St. Joseph, St. Mary’s.
The minimum age is 13, with signed waiver.
The event will be timed.
A bag check will be available.
Shower and changing stations are provided.
