Race Start Time:
The first wave of runners starts at 10:00am. Runners arrive at 9:00am to check-in and get ready to run. Teams will be lined up in pre-assigned waves and be released every minute or two minutes. Start times are assigned by a first-register-first-race basis.

Course Description:
Our 5K follows trails, pasture, creek, pond, hills, valleys, and a beautiful view of the Smoky mountains. We have squeezed almost 30 obstacles into this inner-warrior-provoking 5K run. You will see a few of your favorites like our 16' Rope Climb, Over-Unders, Giant Spool Hurdles, Ladder Walls, Heavy Hoist, Balance Beams and more. And of course we have to create a few unique challenges as well. A few of these we call Terrible Tractor Tires, Sink Hole Scramble, The Angry Teeter Totter, Tree Over Troubled Water, to name a few.
Cherokee Challenge is a 5k of fun, mud, and obstacles.This run is packed with almost 30 obstacles, hills, valleys, streams, ponds, beautiful mountain views, trails, open fields, and more.
Aid Stations:
Water stations will be placed each mile of the track. Paramedics and other first responders will be on site. Racers will be greeted at the finish line with fruit and water.
Spectators:
Spectators are welcome, but we ask you carpool, as our parking is limited.
Parking:
Please carpool, as parking is limited. No fee to park.
Post Party:
We will have food and drink vendors, with music (not live).
Other:
This race is an opportunity to have an absolute blast with your best buds, while also helping provide scholarship funds to help sends kids to summer camp, whom otherwise would not be able to afford to attend.
Team:
Some of our obstacles require teamwork. partner up with friends, or grab some runners around you for help.
