Allan is the type of person that if I called him right now, he would be there to help me no matter what the cause. When he was running the merch department for Battlefrog, no matter how taxing it was, he still made time for everyone outside of work. And he's the type of person that still sends homemade Christmas cards to everyone and travels back to Ecuador every year or several times a year to visit family and help the people of his country.

Provide 1-3 examples of the nominee’s selfless acts within the past 12 months

Just a few weeks after Allan was let go from BattleFrog, the huge earthquake hit Ecuador. After the earthquake occurred, Allan immediately started a gofundme page for relief support for the people of his country. While doing that, he also started a donation campaign for supplies (food, clothes, materials, etc.) that he could take back to Ecuador as well. He has been there the past couple months. Not only providing funds and donations but helping clean up and restore his country to the beautiful place it was prior to the earthquake. He has since been back several times to continue to help the people.

Describe the major impact that this person has had on others’ lives

He not only has had an impact on my life by representing everything a human being should embody (kind, generous, compassionate) but I am 100% positive in stating that I'm sure the impact on the people in his country far exceeds the impact he's had on me. For someone who moved away from home, to come back and give himself wholly to a cause that means so much to him and to the people that he cares so much for, I'm sure that he's had a huge impact on their lives. For a country that is deeply saddened and hurt due to recent events, I am sure Allan is there spreading the happiness and love that follows everywhere he goes.
