Course Description:
Runners ages 11 and up can participate in a 5K race through farm fields, forests, across a creek, and through a little mud. With fun obstacles and varied terrain, the course is perfect for all skill levels. Kids ages 6 through 10 will have fun running the mini-mile, complete with their own set of obstacles and mud.
Course obstacles to include: Hay Bale Climb, Mud Crawl, Swinging Tires, Creek Cross (more than one!), Slip-n-Slide and more…
Aid Stations:
An aid station with paramedics will be on-site. Water stations are throughout the course. Food and beverages are available for purchase on the farm. All are welcome to bring there own food and beverages as well.
Awards:
We celebrate the fact that you finished! We'll post the winners on our website and social media, so bragging rights are made public.
Spectators:
Spectators are free. There is a staging area for them, as the race is throughout the 230 acre farm (we wouldn't want to loose anyone to the pigs).
Parking:
There is parking, but we recommend carpooling if possible.
Post Party:
We have food vendors and games for families to play on the lawn. There are chickens to chase and goats to pet. It is good wholesome family fun.
Other:
We cordially invite you to participate as a participant of the Annual Fernbrook Farms Farm Run. Your participation supports our mission, to provide hands–on educational experiences for all young people by exploring the complex interconnectedness of our natural world. Our purpose is to educate children about food, agriculture, and the environment.
Your participation will also help support numerous scholarships made available to inner city youth in our area, allowing them the opportunity to attend Fernbrook Farms Environmental Education Center summer camps.

Registration will allow you to sign up as a solo runner, join a team or start a team of your own.
