Spartan Pop Up Workout
Have you ever wanted to be trained by the founder and CEO of Spartan Race Joe De Sena? What do you think the workout would be like? Yesterday at Marble Arch in London a group of Spartan Race enthusiasts found out first hand. De Sena hosted a “Spartan pop up workout” for Spartan enthusiasts and anyone else who wanted to break up their workday with a quick lunchtime workout.
De Sena mixed in a combination of bodyweight exercises, martial arts and of course burpees for this lunchtime quickie. The rain did not slow down the participants instead they dug deep and completed many of De Sena's favorite moves with 100 repetitions of each exercise. De Sena motivated the athletes to make it through this tough midday workout encouraging them along the way.
De Sena recently penned a new book Spartan Fit which is due out in August. This workout is just a preview of what his book has in store for both new Spartans and seasoned veterans. His book is currently available for pre-order from major book sellers nationwide.
