Commando Series Do you have what it takes to take on the Commando? Why not try the 6/12km “wild” terrain course, an endurance test like no other. With 18 obstacles - Including 3 NEW Harder hurdles, many of which are true replicas of the Royal Marines Commando Training. The event is open to both adults and young recruits (children aged 8+) with separate hard core & family friendly events taking place plus an overnight survival experience.

Course Description:

6 or 12km endurance challenge course with 18 of the toughest obstacles, mirroring exact replicas of the Royal Marine Commando Training Centre. This is the only event that can recreate the mud, sweat and pain of modern day Royal Marines commando training. Each obstacle has three levels depending on the type of participant. Commando instructors will treat you in the way you choose. It’s up to you what level you pick:
TREAT ME LIKE A COMMANDO: The experience will see you having the real deal. Commando instructors will beast you through the course in this endurance test of a lifetime.
JUST GET ME ROUND : For adults who want to give it a go and older kids who are capable or any first timers to obstacle racing, Commando instructors will support and motivate you with insider tips.
WE ARE FAMILY : For young children and families to compete together with support and encouragement from the PTIs.

On arrival ‘recruits’ will enter the event village resembling a military encampment where they will change and ‘cam up’. Recruits are then led into a holding pen for an old fashioned warm up conducted by legendry Motivator in Chief and ex-Royal Marines Physical Training Instructor, Bart, before getting official “orders’ to set off around the course.
Conducted with a backdrop of Hever Castle, the historic estate and grounds was originally a medieval defensive castle, the scene is set for a true battle of wills.
