Rock Solid Race RockSolidRace descends upon Escot Park on 16th March 2013 bringing you one of the fastest growing sports on earth. Choose your race, either the 5KMDASH or the 10KMROCKSOLID. Race solo or build your team, but ALWAYS challenge others to race it out over gnarly natural obstacles and mega-man-made structures. Get bogged down in hellish swamps and catch some air on our huge hydro-slide; this is not an event for the faint hearted. The latest chipped timing systems will deliver your results instantly to see how you fronted up.

Post race, it’s time to get showered off and hit the Event Village for the bands, beers and LIVE 6 Nations rugby!

Course Description:

This is where it started. ROCKSOLID RACE was born here, and thousands of contenders join us in Exeter for the South West’s largest obstacle race, a challenge that pushes them to – and beyond – the limits they thought they had.
Over 5,000 people head out into Escot Park to take on the infamous inclines, lush lakes and, yes, the mud at our 5k and 10k obstacle course races. Thousands of those contenders are returning ROCKSOLID RACE Champions, because over half of our runners are repeat runners. So look out mud virgins, this could become a dirty habit.
This means we’re always updating our course – because we don’t want you getting cocky, do we?.

Spectators:

Spectators are free.

Parking:

Parking will be charged at £5.00.
We strongly encourage carpooling. Please bring the correct change.

Post Party:

ROCKSOLID RACE shouldn’t be followed by a salad and a tap water. At the Event Village, you’ll find gourmet burgers, wood-fired pizzas and a huge range of tasty treats, like beer.

Other:

We’re the only mud race with hot showers. Remember your towel and a change of clothes for the after-party.
