Fear the Pier Fear the Pier will transform Hudson River Park’s Pier 26 into the most unique obstacle course New York City has to offer, designed to push you to the limits and give your fitness skills the ultimate test. This timed course features obstacles that challenge everyone from the elite athlete to the urban thrill-seeker, to the casual competitor just game for having fun!
Fear the Pier also welcomes spectators of all ages, so bring everyone to cheer you on. The top male and female competitors with the fastest obstacle course times of the day will be crowned the 2016 Champions!

Course Description:

Fear the Pier is the most epic obstacle course you’ve ever dared, a one-of-a-kind adrenaline rush along Manhattan’s waterfront that will kick-start your summer with the ultimate fitness test.
This timed challenge is built to thrill, calling all elite athletes, urban adventurers and fierce competitors to Pier 26 where you’ll crawl, scramble, scale and propel yourself to reach new physical heights and crush this course. The onslaught of heart-pounding obstacles will push you to your absolute limits while you compete under the inspiring backdrop of New York City’s iconic skyline.
Run it once, run it twice to push even further, and challenge your friends, family and colleagues in this exhilarating, not-to-be-missed competition that no other Park can offer.

Aid Stations:

Safety and fun are of the utmost importance at Fear the Pier. We will have an EMT onsite in case of injuries. The first aid tent will be clearly marked and situated near the finish line.

Spectators:

Pier 26 will be open to the public and spectators can see the entire course.

Post Party:

There will be food trucks onsite and music playing all day!
